JAMMU, Feb 1: Inter School Shito-Ryu Karate Competition was held at Global Convent School, Channi Rama, here today.
Over 100 students participated in the event.
Competition was held under the supervision of Shihan, Manoj Mehra, Sensei Umesh Rakhi, Rohit Thakyal, Amit Kumar, Vikas and Deepa Sharma.
Mona Pandoh, Founder of the School and Mrs Gandotra, School Principal spoke on the occasion.
The winners of first prize included Harmandev Singh, Saila Nazir, Mohd. Zahid, Suhail Choudhary, Akmal, Sambhav, Mohd. Sarfraz, Divanshi, Touseef Ahmed, Megha and Riya, while the second position was bagged by Raghav Saigal, Sneha, Vansh, Owais, Harleen Kour, Devpal, Fazil Mushtaq, Ramandep Singh, Diksha, Shail Singh and Wadhbag. The third position went to Rehan Iqbal, Gurver Singh, Saksham, Sohal Ali, Harmanpreet, Jasdev Singh, Sahil Choudhary, Sangam, Parmeet Kour, Sanober, Imtiyaz Ahmed and Mohd Ruban.
