UDHAMPUR, Oct 25: One day Inter-School Under-19 Boys and Girls Speedball Competition of Udhampur District was held at Amardeep High School Jakhani, here.
The competition was held under the supervision of Sukhdev Singh, DYSSO, Udhampur.
The students drawn from 6 institutions of the district took part in the competition. The participating institutions included Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Happy Model Higher Secondary School, Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Common Public School, BB Shanti Vidya Peeth and Amardeep High School.
The matches were officiated by Sanjay Sharma, Somdev Khajuria, Navin Sharma, Ramesh Chander, Sahil Janjua, Gurmanjeet Singh and Ankit Sharma.
In men’s doubles, Avinash Sharma and Dhananjay Sharma bagged gold, while Mohit Sharma and Sahil Chand clinched silver and the bronze went to Shivam Modi and Rishav Kundal.
In girls doubles, the gold went to Rita Sharma and Shivali Jamwal, while silver was bagged by Pallavi Bhagat and Shilpa Kumari and the bronze was claimed by Sumita Kumari and Ritu Kumari
Super Solo for boys: 1st Rakesh Sharma, 2nd Sanjay Gogra and 3rd Abhishek Kumar.
Super Solo for girls: 1st Priya Sharma, 2nd Sumita Kumari and 3rd Mamta.
Singles for girls: 1st Manpreet Singh, 2nd Rakesh Singh and 3rd Rohit Manhas .
Single for girls: 1st Manasvi Dubey, 2nd Tripta and 3rd Ritu Sharma.
Mix doubles: 1st Jyoti Kumari and Raghuvir Singh, 2nd Poornima Rani and Sharon Sharma and 3rd Raghuvir Singh and Surbhi Jamwal.
