JAMMU, Apr 18: District Level Inter-School Speedball competition for Under-14 and Under-17 boys and girls was held at Gandhi Nagar, here today.
The competition was organized under the patronage of Navin Agarwal, Director General Youth Services and Sports, under the supervision of Sukhdev Singh, DYSSO Jammu.
Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports, Rishi Kumar inaugurated the competition in presence of galaxy of participants and employees of the Department.
Players drawn from 13 institutions took part in the competition and the participating Schools included GD Goenka Public School, Jodhamal School, KC Public School, Dogra Hr. Secondary School, SD Tara Puri School , Lawrence Public School, Air Force School, St. Pauls Convent School, Govt High School Old Satwari, Delhi Public School, New Era Public School and JK Montessorie School.
Sunny Nanda, general secretary Speedball Association of J&K was the technical expert in the competition.
