KATHUA, Aug 7: Organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, the Inter-School Tournament of zones Hiranagar, Sallan and Marheen concluded here today at Sports Stadium Hiranagar with the matches of cricket.
The Tournament was organized under the overall supervision of Sunil Kumar District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kathua and under the convenership of Sukesh Kumar, Zonal Physical Education Officer Hiranagar.
On the final day of the tournament the matches of cricket were played. 64 players of different Schools participated on concluding day of tournament.
Earlier, the Govt HSS Chandwan defeated Infants Jesus HSS Hiranagar by 17 runs.
The matches were officiated by Kuldeep Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Rakesh Kumar Raju, Mohan Lal, Narinder Singh and Naresh Kumar. Sanjeev Sunny Sudarshan Kumar and Darshan Kumar were also present on the occasion.
