Inter-Zonal District Level Youth Festival held

REASI, Oct 11: The Department of Youth Services and Sports (YSS), Reasi, hosted an Inter-Zonal District Level Youth Festival at the General Zorawar Singh Auditorium. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students representing Zone Arnas, Zone Pouni and Zone Reasi.
Tarsem Singh, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Reasi, inaugurated the festival, emphasizing its significance in commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. He highlighted the importance of youth engagement in cultural activities and announced that the festival’s winners would represent Reasi at the upcoming Inter-District UT Level Competition in Jammu. Singh also expressed his gratitude to Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, for facilitating the use of the auditorium.
Participants showcased their talents across various categories, including Art and Craft, Painting, Declamation, Poetry, Group and Solo Dance (Folk), and Group and Solo Singing (Folk). The festival celebrated the vibrant talents and cultural diversity of the youth. Prominent attendees included Asha Devi (ZPEO Reasi), Ashoka Kumari, Mohd Riaz and several other local officials.
