KATHUA, May 23: The two day inter -zonal district tourney concluded here today with series of competitions held in different sports disciplines on the last day of the tourney.
On the final day matches were played in the discipline of Kho-kho, Volley Ball, Kabaddi, U/14 and U/17 yrs in Girls category.
The tournament was held under the supervision of Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports, Jammu, Rishi Kumar and District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kathua, Sunil Kumar.
The chief guest at the closing day of the tournament was District Education & Planning Officer Kathua, Narinder Singh Sambyal. The PEM (activity In-carge) Kuldip Singh, ZPEO Pawan Kumar, PEM, Joginder Kumar and PEM Ashok Kumar were also present.
About 243 girl players from different zones of Kathua district participated in the tournament and displayed their sports talent.
