SRINAGAR, June 11: Inter Zone District Level tournament in the disciplines of Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and Volleyball for U-14 and 17 girls commenced at Sports Stadium Budgam. The meet is being organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports, Budgam.
On the occasion, Lieutenant Colonel PK Sharma from CRPF Budgam was the chief guest, who declared the meet open.
While speaking, Lieutenant Colonel PK Sharma advised the participants to play the games with true sportsmanship.
He also highlighted the importance of sports in day-to-day life and asked the youth to participate in games to keep their body mentally and physically fit.
In the meet, around 1000 girl students from 12 zones of district Budgam are participating.
