JAMMU, Nov 25: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has taken strong exception to recent tirade against nation in the name of intolerance, which is deliberate and calculated attempt to bring disrepute to the country and undermine its position and growing influence in world community.
The influence and position of the country has increased tremendously in the last about one and half year of governance by Narendra Modi led- NDA mainly because of untiring efforts of Prime Minister, who is painstakingly building image of nation by visiting large number of countries to invite foreign investors and strengthen position of India in world community, BJP chief spokesperson, Sunil Sethi told reporters here today along with another spokesperson of the Party Balbir Ram Rattan.
He said it is because of good governance that overall development of the country has started taking place but the people who are enjoying luxurious lifestyles and were looting the country with two hands are perturbed with the style of functioning of Mr Modi so through their henchmen they have started a vicious campaign against the NDA Government as they don’t want emergence of any leader who can lead India to become Vishaw Guru.
Sunil Sethi said growing influence of India on world scene is not liked by forces opposed to the country and they have made this plan of weakening country from within and certain elements in the country, who had lost social and political relevance have jumped on the bandwagon for the pity gains even at the cost of national interests and have launched anti national tirade for mere publicity and for social relevance.
The Congress leaders going Pakistan and asking for help for political survival is an indication in this regard he added.
Sethi said Indian society and polity is run on principles of Panchsheel and concepts of Ram Rajya, where majority willingly suffered for the benefits of minority. It’s not in Indian culture to be intolerant. If India would have been intolerant then these persons making irresponsible statements would have been thrown out but Indian culture as thought given by Vedas preaches co-existence and respect for all.
