Investiture Ceremony held in Jr wing of KC Public School

JAMMU, May 23: The Investiture Ceremony for the session 2014-15 was held at junior wing of KC Public School, here today.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the traditional lamp signifying new beginnings, new hopes and new aspirations.
Earlier, School Principal, Amarendra Mishra presented welcome address and congratulated the students for getting coveted positions on the School Council.
A short cultural programme was also presented on the occasion, which began with beautiful leadership song, followed by two international dances. The exotic Palestinian ‘Dabka Dance’ and Scottish Ballet mesmerized the audience with their hypnotic beats.
The Head Girl, Kibriya and the Head Boy, Samarth recited poems on leadership, highlighting their qualities.
Expressing their feelings on being elected for the prestigious positions, they pledged to take the School to pinnacles of new achievements and to uphold the values of honesty, integrity, loyalty and dignity.
School Headmistress, Sofia Rana, who earlier gave away badges to the new appointees, presented vote of thanks.
