KATHUA, Aug 30: Spring Dales English School Changran, Kathua organized Investiture Ceremony for the Academic Year 2017-18, here today.
The chief guest on the occasion, was retired DySP Dhruv Singh, while Director, Prof RK Gupta and Principal, Usha Gupta were also present.
Students dressed in resplendent house colours, marching to the beat of the drums, added to the grandeur of the event.
The chief guest commended the efforts of the School Management, Staff and students and encouraged them to achieve the ultimate and do their best in all their future endeavours.
The chief guest formally inducted the Head Boy Avinash Kichloo, Head Girl Akshu Jasrotia, Vice Head Boy Ritish Sambyal, Vice Head Girl Ayushi Sharma and Sports Captain Loveneet Singh by handing over the ceremonial sash.
The Captains and Vice Captains of four Houses (Captains- Shaurya House-Simran Mahajan, Maurya House-Siya Mahajan, Kavya House-Ritika Sharma, Surya House-Vivek Sumberia and Vice Captains – Shaurya House-Minal Gupta, Maurya House-Sonakshi Sharma, Kavya House-Nandita Kundal, Surya House-Lovish Kumar) were inducted. It was followed by the Oath-taking Ceremony wherein the newly appointed leaders pledged to devote the best of their ability, knowledge, power, duty and discipline in accordance to the vision and mission of their alma mater.
The ceremony concluded with the Vande Mataram.
