SRINAGAR, Sept 27: The repair and restoration of equipment and machinery at SMHS Hospital, started today even as the IPD at all the tertiary care hospitals of the city is expected to be started from Monday.
Technicians from various companies like Siemens, Toshiba etc have arrived and started the repair work of machines and equipment at the hospital.
Minister for Health & Medical Education, Taj Mohi-ud-Din, who is personally supervising the process of service resumption at these hospitals, has directed that all the equipment including diagnostic should be placed at the first floors and above to avoid any mishap in future.
The Blood Banks at the hospitals have also been activated.
Moreover, besides opening of IPD, Pathology and Bio Chemistry labs at these hospitals are also likely to be opened from Monday.
