‘IPL Wall of Fame’ inaugurated at Radisson Blu

JAMMU, Apr 1: ‘IPL Wall of Fame’ which displays cut outs and pictures of IPL players was inaugurated at Radisson Blu Hotel, here today.
The framed picture wall made as a tribute to the IPL players especially the J&K cricketers including Umran Malik, Abdul Samad, Vivrant Sharma, Yudhvir Singh Charak and Avinash, which was inaugurated by former J&K cricketer and Member of J&K Sports Council, Ranjeet Kalra in the presence of former Ranji trophy captain Kavaljit Singh, international cricketer Surinder Bagal and JKCA media manager Rajesh Dhar.
The Radisson Blu has also announced special concessions on food and beverages to all JKCA registered players for the whole IPL season.
Ranjeet Kalra while appreciating the good gesture of Radisson Blu hoped that the wall of fame would attract people to cheer and celebrate the achievements of J&K cricketers who are part of various franchisee teams. “The players have made us proud and we wish them all the very best for the IPL season,” Kalra said.
Kavaljit Singh also wished good luck to IPL players. The J&K cricketers, especially the younger lot, are very talented and expressed hope to see more players in the IPL and Indian team in future, he added.
Surinder Singh Bagal appealed to the players and people at large to come and watch the matches on large screen at Radisson Blu.
He also appreciated the idea of naming food and beverages in the name of players by the Hotel management.
