JAMMU, Apr 28: Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar, former Vice-Chancellor of Jammu University, has been appointed as VC of Maharaja Ranjit Singh State Technical University Bathinda in Punjab.
The appointment of Prof Ishar has been made by the Governor of Punjab for a period of three years with effect from the date of assumption of office by him.
Formal order in this regard was issued today.
It may be recalled that Prof M P S Ishar has remained Vice-Chancellor of Jammu University from 2012 to 2014 for a period of around three years. He had resigned as VC JU three months before completion of his tenure and rejoined Guru Nanak Dev University as Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences there.
