Ishrat, Athar share first position in Symposium

RAJOURI, Oct 18: Literary and Cultural Committee of Government Degree College (GDC) organised a Symposium on “Relevance of Gandhian Philosophy in Modern India”, in which students participated actively.
On the occasion, Principal of the College, Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Lone, was the chief guest, who while speaking, stressed upon the students to follow the principles of Mahatma Gandhi and go through the Gandhian philosophy and its relevance during the recent times.
In the competition, Ishrat Shafi and Athar Mahmood shared first position, whereas, Nazia Parveen and Shaista Rashid, secured second and third positions respectively.
The competition was organised under the guidance of Prof Mohd Iqbal Raina, convener, Literary and Cultural Committee of the College.
