JAMMU, Nov 5: Ishuk Choudhary, Abhishek Pathania, Younis Kuchey and Sohail Khalid emerged winners in the quarterfinals of State Senior Snooker Championship, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
In the first quarterfinal, Ishuk got the better of Umar Himanyun 3-2 by (30-60, 57-27, 63-41, 18-60, 67-47), while Abhishek prevailed over Nikhil Kapahi 3-2 in another quarterfinal by (48-17, 46-64, 53-61, 65-37, 63-26).
Younis outplayed Nitin Sharma 3-1 by (60-28, 65-30, 36-49, 71-37) and Sohail drubbed Vishal Abrol 3-2 by (32-62, 22-64, 53-18, 55-14, 43-27).
Earlier, in the league matches, Ishuk Choudhary outclassed Akshay Kumar 3-0, Abhishek Pathania trounced Mudasir Nath 3-2 and Younis Kuchey thrashed his rival by 3-0.
