JAMMU, July 19: In an ongoing 28th Billiards and Snooker Championship, Ishuk Chowdhary has clinched the senior Snooker Championship title by defeating Vidit Gawri in the finals here today.
The Senior Category final Snooker match was held at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here where Ishuk Chowdhary defeated Vidit Gawri and became winner of the Senior Snooker Championship. Ishuk Chowdhary defeated Vidit Gawri by 4-3 score. Vidit Gawri also played outstandingly and became runner-up of the Championship.
While in senior Billiards quarter-final matches followed by Semi-final matches were underway till last reports. The Championship is organized by The Billiards and Snooker Association J&K under the aegis of J&K Sports Council.
