SRINAGAR, Aug 28: Islamia College defeated G D C Kupwara by three goals to one (3-1) in the ongoing Inter-College Football Tournament at Kashmir University Football Ground, here today.
For Islamia College, Centre forward Basalat scored the first goal in the first half, while in the second half of the game right-out Syed Mehdi pelted second one and then third goal was netted by Basalat. Government Degree College Kupwara could make only one goal in the second half of the game.
The Inter-College Football Tournament is being organized by the Directorate of Physical Education, University of Kashmir.
