Israr scores 14-ball fifty as Poonch XI scripts big win

POONCH, July 24: Israr Charak scored a quick-fire 14-ball half-century to help Poonch XI thrash Singh Warriors by a big margin of 80 runs in the ongoing Poonch T20 Cricket Tournament, being organised by District Police Poonch, under the overall supervision of DySP Sheezan Bhat, here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Poonch XI scored a huge total of 200 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Israr stole the show with his power-packed fifty.
In reply, Singh Warriors managed to score 120 runs in the allotted overs to lose the match by 80 runs.
“Israr’s brisk knock of 50 runs was really a delight to watch,” expressed the spectators.
