JAMMU, Mar 8: Indian Yoga Association (IYA) J&K Chapter and Swaraj Yoga Institute and Wellness Retreats held a valedictory programme for the Passed out Yoga Teachers here today.
The programme was organised under the Chairmanship of Dr Shreyansh Jain (Head IYA-J&K Chapter) in association with Founder of Swaraj Yoga Institute, Anil Swaraj who is also the Secretary of Indian Yoga Association.
The organisation had announced a scholarship certification programme in various categories for the students of Jammu and Kashmir to become professional Yoga Teachers in Open Merit and for the students of Economically Weaker Sections last month. The training programme commenced on February 5 and concluded on 3 March, 2024.
The organisers said that during the programme a large number of students from different areas especially from border belts participated and now after completing these courses they are eligible to teach other students.
During the occasion certificates were awarded to all passed out students by Dr Shreyansh Jain. The passed-out Yoga Teachers, Tarsem Verma, Rajesh Magotra, Surjit Singh, Shavnam Chadgal, Palvi Saini, Aditya Mahajan, Dheeraj Kahjuria and Ruchi Gupta were awarded professional membership of Indian Yoga Association.
Sri Sri Ravishankar, Founder Art of Living is the Chairman of the Governing Council and Maa Hansa is the President of Indian Yoga Association (IYA). Abhinandan Jain, Ashok Gupta, Sudha Chander, Malti Sharma, Anmol Maini, Nitin Jaim, Rakesh Verma among the other dignitaries who were present at the event.
