KISHTWAR, Nov 3: Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik today inaugurated the Inter Zonal District Level (IZDL) Athletics U/14 and U/19 meet for boys and girls at Chowgan Ground, here today.
The competitions are being organised by District Youth Services & Sports Department Kishtwar.
Students of five zones including Kishtwar, Drabshalla, Inderwal, Nagseni and Padder are participating in the event. The meet will be held in two phases. “Girls competition will be organised in first phase while competitions for boys will be held in the second phase in disciplines of Race, High Jump, Long Jump and Shot put,” said DYSSO Kishtwar.
The chief guest appreciated DYSSO Kishtwar and all sports employees for their efforts towards promotion of sports among the students.
