JAMMU, Sept 16: Inter Zonal District Level (IZDL) competitions in various disciplines, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports, concluded at Government High School Jammu Cantonment Satwari, here today.
In Volleyball under19 years, Khour zone beat RS Pura in first semi-final match by 2-0 sets, whereas Arnia trounced Dansal by 2-1 sets in 2nd semi-final and Khour emerged winner by defeating Arnia by 2-0 sets in the finals.
In under-17, Khour beat Bishnah by 2-0 sets in the finals, while Bishnah and Khour trounced Satwari and Jammu in semi-finals respectively and in under-14, Khour defeated Satwari in the finals, whereas Khour and Satwari got better of Dansal and Chowki Chora in the semi-finals.
In Kho-Kho under-19 years, Akhnoor beat Jammu by 6 points and Marh beat Gandhi Nagar by 8 points in the semi-finals and Marh emerged as winner by defeating Akhnoor by 9 points in the finals. In under-17, Akhnoor beat Arnia by 8 points in the finals and Akhnoor trounced Arnia by 5 points in under-14 category.
