Jain DIG NIA, Sinha JD CBI

JAMMU, Oct 19: The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has appointed Anand Jain, an IPS officer of 1997 batch of Jammu and Kashmir cadre, as DIG in the National Investigating Agency (NIA).
He was presently posted as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
However, following Jain’s posting as the DIG NIA, his tenure as the Director MHA has been curtailed.
Jain had served as SSP Jammu and Reasi before proceeding on Central deputation.
Meanwhile, Manish Kishore Sinha, an  IPS officer of 1996 batch,  J&K cadre,  has been appointed as Joint Director in CBI, New Delhi.
The order in this regard was  issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.
Mr Sinha is presently  heading the Head Quarters of  Anti Corruption Zone 2, in CBI with All India Jurisdiction.
Sinha is supervising investigations of Vayapam Scam of Madhya Pradesh which has been in the public eye nationally.
While in J&K, Sinha served on  important positions, such as  SSP Border, officiating SSP Jammu, SSP Rajouri,  DIG Doda – Kishtwar  Range  and DIG of Rajouri- Poonch Range. Sinha has also served as DD of  Intelligence Bureau in Jammu and at the Indian Embassy in Dubai.
