LOS ANGELES, June 14: Popular TV host and actor James Corden has joined the cast of Melissa McCarthy-starrer “Super-Intelligence”.
The 39-year-old actor will voice an all-powerful Artificial Intelligence in the action comedy, which will be directed by McCarthy’s husband Ben Falcone. The script has been penned by Steve Mallory, reported Variety.
The story follows Carol Peters, a former corporate executive whose earnest yet unfulfilled life is turned upside down when she is selected for observation by the worlds first super-intelligence – an artificial intelligence that may or may not take over the world.
The film marks the fourth collaboration between Falcone and McCarthy after “Tammy” (2014), “The Boss” (2016) and “Life of the Party”, which released on May 11 in the United States.
Falcone and McCarthy are also going to produce the project through their banner On the Day.
Corden, who hosts popular show “The Late Late Show”, most recently voiced the title character in “Peter Rabbit” and also acted in “Ocean’s 8”. (PTI)
