Jammu boy Aarav slams classic ton for U’khand against Karnataka

JAMMU, Dec 1: Talented top-order batter Aarav Mahajan of Jammu slammed a magnificent century while representing Uttarakhand against Karnataka in the ongoing Cooch Behar Trophy at SWDRV Ground Mysore today.
Batting first, Uttarakhand were struggling at 13/3, before Aarav Mahajan showed brilliance and displayed class to make a partnership of 104 runs with wicketkeeper batter Sanskar Rawat to take the score to 232/9 in 90 overs at the draw of stumps on day-1 today.
Aarav scored 127 runs off 236 balls, studded with 18 delectable boundaries, while Rawat and Yogesh contributed 43 and 29 runs to the total respectively.
Ishaan S and Dheeraj Gowda took 3 wickets each for Karnataka, while Samarth N bagged 2 wickets and Hardik Raj claimed one.
