Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha to organize ‘Baisakhi Millan’

JAMMU, Apr 11: The Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha is going to celebrate `Baisakhi Millan’ on April 14 at Mahajan Bhawan, Shalamar Road Jammu.
The function will be presided over by Kavinder Gupta, Speaker of the J&K Legislative Assembly while the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh will be chief guest on the occasion.
On the occasion, the Sabha will also honour the Minister for Industries, Chander Prakash Ganga; Minister for Health, Choudhary Lal Singh, Minister for Social Welfare, Bali Bhagat; Minister for PHE, Sukhnandan Choudhary, MoS Finance Pawan Gupta, MoS Education Proya Sethi, MLA Rajesh Gupta and MLA Sat Sharma.
This was informed by the Mahajan Sabha president, Vinod Gupta, while addressing a press conference here today.
He said that the Baisakhi Millan function will begin at 11 am and several cultural items as well as Punjabi Bhangra will mark the occasion.
The Sabha president extended an open invitation to all members of the Mahajan community for their participation in the function.
During the press conference, several ongoing community welfare programmes of the Central Mahajan Sabha were also highlighted by the president who vowed to continue the mission of Lala Hans Raj Mahajan and Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan.
