Jammu City T20 Cricket Cup from today

JAMMU, Feb 24: Jammu City T20 Cricket Cup, being organized by Jammu Police will begin at Parade Ground Jammu from tomorrow.
12 premier teams of Jammu and Srinagar have confirmed their participation in the Tournament.
The tournament is being organized under the supervision of SDPO City Perbeet Singh Parihar and the slogan of the tournament is to “Play for Peace with J&K Police”.
The tournament is a part of Civic Action Programme of J&K Police and the main objective of this event is to provide platform to the youth of the State to exhibit their sports talent and to channelize their energy in right direction.
According to the organizers, SK Chouhan, SP City Jammu will be the chief guest in the inauguration function, who will declare the tournament open and the inaugural matches will be played between Jammu Gymkhana and Oriental Cricket Club at 9.45 am, while Khalsa Club will take on Guru Nanak Cricket Club at 1pm.
The other participating teams include Rainawari CC, K C Sports Club, Jammu Eleven Star, Jammu Police Eleven, Tanishta Club, Jammu Tawi Cricket Eleven ,Trikuta Club and JKP Eleven.
The organizing committee included SK Chouhan SP City, Perbeet Singh Parihar SDPO City, K K Gupta SHO City, Rahul Mahajan I/C P/P Parade and Rajesh Gill Chief Prosecuting Officer, former Ranji player is the Coordinator of the tournament whereas the technical committee included Rajesh Dhar, R P Singh, Sunil Sambyal, Nitu Khokher, Sandeep Manchanda, Suhail Yusuf and Vinod Kandyara.
