UDHAMPUR, Oct 5: Jammu district clinched Divisional Level Inter District Basketball championship under-14 girls at Army Public School ground, here today.
The competition was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports under the patronage of Director Youth Services and Sports, J&K-UT Subash Chander Chibber, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai.
District Social Welfare Officer Udhampur Kanika Gupta was the chief guest and Principal APS, Udhampur Sanjeev Kumar was the guest of honour while District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Udhampur Romesh Chander Mishra was also present there. Jammu district defeated Doda district in the inaugural match by 16-6 and entered in the finals and in the final match Jammu district defeated Samba by 13-6.
All the matches were officiated by Sanjay Sharma, Manik Nargotra, Ranbir Singh, Ishang Bandral, Deepak Sharma, Sourab Pandit and Jyoti Sharma.
