JAMMU, Dec 23: Two days Jammu District Archery Championship commenced at Gulshan Ground, here today.
The Championship is being organised by Archery Association of Jammu and Kashmir under the aegis of J&K Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association.
Sunil Sharma Senior Vice President Archery Association of Jammu and Kashmir inaugurated the championship.
Prominent who were present on the occasion were Sharat Chander, Darshna Kumari, Simmi Sharma, Aman Sangral and Meenu Choudhary.
Vikas Gupta is the Organizing Secretary of the Championship.
In Indian Round Sub Junior Boys (Distance 30m), Nitish Bawa, Dhron Dev and Pranav Kumar bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In Senior Men (Distance 50m), Bhawani Jasrotia, Sahil Magotra and Gourav Bandral clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In Indian Round Women (Distance 50m), Mehnaz Kouser, Usha Devi and Rita Devi bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
