*Vaibhavi declared as ‘Best Gymnast’

JAMMU, Dec 11: Jammu District Gymnastics Championship was held at Gymnasium Hall, Indoor Sports Complex, here in which 150 boys and girls participated.
On the valedictory function, Abdul Qayoom, Chief Sports Officer, J&K State Sports Council was the Chief Guest who gave away prizes to the position holders.
The championship was conducted under the supervision of Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, J&K State Sport Council, Jammu.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion were SP Singh, Manager Mini Stadium, Parade Ground Jammu, Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Sports Complex, Jammu, Iqbal Singh, Football Coach, Kurpali Singh, Gymnastic Coach, Manisha Gupta, Gymnastic Coach and Jagjeet Singh, Hockey Coach. State and Sher-i-Kashmir Sports awardees in Gymnastics Manpreet, Palak Bijral, Mayank Jain, Honey Mehra, Parul Mehra and Natasha Sharma also graced the occasion.
Vaibhavi Sharma gave outstanding performance and won all four Gold medals in her age group. She was declared as Best Gymnast of the Championship.
In U-8 girls (Artistic), Triza Bala Thapa, Advaita Sharma and Prachi Thakur clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-10 girls (Artistic), Shilpa Rajput, Ishani Soni and Ishanavi Soni bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in boys category, Aarav Khanna, Savyam Verma and Piyush Bhagat secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-12 girls (Artistic), Asmi Gupta, Mannat Sharma and Nabiha Fatima bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in boys category, Aryan Angotra, Annan Kesar and Jasmeet Singh clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-14 girls (Artistic), Suhani, Suhani and Ankita Khajuria bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in boys category, Dhariya Sharma, Rijjul Bagal and Harmandev Singh clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-14 boys (Aerobics), Vikas, Swarakshak Dogra and Suryansh clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In Junior Boys (Aerobics), Manharpreet, Gagandeep Singh and Laksh Mahajan emerged winners, whereas in girls category, Yaadvi Mahajan, Samanvi Sharma and Sudipti Khanna bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-10 girls (Rhythmic) Freehand event, Vaibhavi Sharma, Samreen Kour and Siddhani Mahajan bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas U-10 girls (Rhythmic) Hoop event, Vaibhavi Sharma, Samreen Kour and Ayman Tak bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-10 girls (Rhythmic) Ball event, Vaibhavi Sharma, Ayman Tak and Arushi Gupta bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in U-10 girls (Rhythmic) All Round, Vaibhavi Sharma, Ayman Tak and Samreen Kour clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-12 girls (Rhythmic) All Round, Himani Gupta, Muskan Rana and Jagritit Thakur bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in U-12 girls (Rhythmic) Freehand event, Muskan Rana, Jagriti Thakur and Himani Gupta clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-12 girls (Rhythmic) Hoop event, Himani Gupta, Muskan Rana and Jagriti Thakur bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in U-12 girls (Rhythmic) Ball event, Himani Gupta, Jagriti Thakur and Muskan Rana bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-14 girls (Rhythmic) All Round, Simran Kour, Viomini Dogra and Disha Verma clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in U-14 girls (Rhythmic) Hoop event, Simran Kour, Viomini Dogra and Pari Sharma clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-14 girls (Rhythmic) Ball event, Simran Kour, Viomini Dogra and Disha Verma clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in U-14 girls (Rhythmic) Clubs event, Simran Kour, Viomini Dogra and Pari Sharma clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-14 girls (Rhythmic) Ribbon event, Simran Kour, Viomini Dogra and Disha Verma clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in U-17 girls (Rhythmic) hoop event, Bavleen Kaur, Nandani Lakhotra and Vandhana Barathi clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-17 girls (Rhythmic) Hoop event, Nandani Lakhotra, Vandhana Barathi and Bavleen Kaur secured first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in U-17 girls (Rhythmic) Ball event, Bavleen Kaur, Vandhana Barathi and Nandani Lakhotra emerged winners.
In U-17 girls (Rhythmic) Clubs event, Bavleen Kaur, Vandhana Barathi and Nandani Lakhotra clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in U-17 girls (Rhythmic) Ribbon event, Bavleen Kaur, Vandhana Barathi and Nandani Lakhotra bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
