JAMMU, Aug 28: The Jammu District Inter-School Rollball Championship was held today at M.A. Stadium, Jammu, attracting around 130 participants from various schools across the district. The event showcased the growing enthusiasm for Rollball among young athletes.
Suraj Bhan Singh, Manager Indoor Sports Complex MA Stadium Jammu, was the chief guest on the occasion. He was accompanied by coaches from the participating schools, who encouraged the young players and supported them throughout the competition.
In a display of exceptional skill and teamwork, British International School secured the gold medal in the Under-11 boys’ category, while K C Public School took the silver and K C International School won the bronze. In the Under-14 boys’ category, DPS Nagbani clinched the gold medal, with K C Public School earning the silver and G D Goenka School took home the bronze. The Under-17 boys’ category saw G.D. Goenka School won the gold medal, followed by DPS Nagbani, which secured the silver.
The championship concluded on a high note, with all teams demonstrating great sportsmanship and competitive spirit.
