JAMMU, May 22: Jammu District Karate Championship, organized by Amateur Karate Association of Jammu and Kashmir (AKAJK) concluded at Indoor Multipurpose Hall, MA Stadium, here.
Abhijeet Singh Chib clinched gold in (18+) -75kg Senior category.
Earlier the Championship was inaugurated on May 19 by Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Sat Sharma
All the senior members of the Association and renowned coaches of Karate including Manoj Mehra, Brijesh Bahu and Naresh Chander were present during the closing ceremony today.
Ambedkar Gupta, General Secretary AKAJK and Joint Secretary KAI was the chief guest and Vishal Sharma (Advocate), President Jammu District Karate Association was the guest of honour during the Closing Ceremony, who presented medals to the winners on the occasion.
Umesh Rekhi, Organizing Secretary of the Championship presented vote of thanks.
