Jammu District Tennis Ball Cricket C’ship gets underway

JAMMU, Feb 2: As part of Annual Calendar of activities of Jammu and Kashmir Tennis Ball Cricket Association, Jammu District Tennis Ball Cricket Championship got underway at Green Field ground, Gandhi Nagar, here today.
96 players participated in the Championship, which was declared open by Anju Gupta, Zonal Physical Education Officer, Gandhi Nagar.
In today’s matches, Narinder Memorial Cricket Club and Youth Services and Sports Club registered victories over their rivals to stay alive in the Tournament.
In the first match, Narinder Memorial Cricklet Club defeated Gujjar Nagar Cricket Club by 8 wickets, while in the second match, Youth Services and Sports Club got better of UMCC also by 8 wickets.
