JAMMU, Aug 16: The Jammu District Weightlifting Association has announced the Jammu District Weightlifting Championship 2024-25, set to take place on August 21 and 22, 2024. The event will be held at the Bhagwati Nagar Sports Complex, organized by J&K Sports Council.
The Championship will feature competitions for Youth (Boys/Girls) and Senior (Men/Women) categories. All weightlifters interested in participating are asked to register their names with Weightlifting Coaches Akash Virdhi and Dhanraj Singh. Body weighing for lifters will begin promptly at 8:00 am.
