UDHAMPUR, Nov 25: Jammu Division emerged overall winner in the State Level Inter Division Handball Tournament, organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports for all age groups boys here at Subash Stadium.
About 89 players from both Jammu and Kashmir Divisions of J&K participated in the tournament.
Ravinder Kumar District Development Commissioner Udhampur was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed the prizes among the winner and runner up teams.
The tournament is being organized under the overall supervision of Sudesh Kumar Chalotra District Youth Services and Sports Officer Udhampur.
In U-14 final, Jammu Division defeated Kashmir Division, whereas in U-17 final, Jammu Division outplayed Kashmir Division and in U-19 final, Jammu Division beat Kashmir Division.
The matches were officiated by Manik Nargotra, Ravi Kumar, Vipen Photra, Karun Magotra, Vikrant Balgotra, Sanjeev Kumar, Bandana Sharma and Pooja Sharma.
Among others present were Pawan Kumar ZPEO Panchari, Deepika Manhas, Nazir Ahmed Lone, Mohammad Rafi, Gourav Sharma, Rita Sharma, Anupama Sharma, Rakesh Khajuria, Parshotam Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Jagdish Kumar and Ved Parkash.
