Jammu Green registers 4 wkts win over Jammu Blue in inaugural tie

JAMMU, Sept 3: Jammu Green registered 4 wickets win over Jammu Blue in the inaugural tie of the five match series for under-14 cricketers, being organized by Jammu Tawi Sports Club at GGM Science College hostel ground, here today.
Batting first, Jammu Blue scored 97 runs by losing all wickets in 28.2 overs. Sachin made 38 runs, while Aditya and Ashank made 16 and 8 runs respectively.
From Jammu Green side, Aditya Paul, Usman Ahmed and Arrav Mahajan scalped 2 wickets each.
In the second inning, Jammu Green chased the target by losing 6 wickets in 29.3 overs. Shivanesh scored 23 runs, while Dikshay made 20 runs and Aarav Mahajan chipped in 18 runs.
From Jammu Blue side, Sadim and Nityam took 2 wickets each.
Aarav Mahajan of Jammu Green was adjudged as Man of the Match for his all round performance.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Madan Lal as umpires, while Sandeep maintained the scorecard.
