Martyrs’ Day

JAMMU, Mar 23: A special run was organized in Jammu to pay tribute to India’s brave martyrs, including Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. The event, which saw around 100 runners, began their run from Bahu Plaza and concluded at Miran Sahib, covering a route of 23 km. Many participants also joined virtually from different locations, making the tribute truly inclusive.
Runners proudly carried the Indian flag, symbolizing respect and unity for the sacrifices made by these freedom fighters. Some participants ran 23 km, while others completed a 10 km stretch, demonstrating their reverence and commitment to remembering the martyrs’ bravery. The run served as a reminder of the immense courage and resilience of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, who laid down their lives for the nation’s freedom. Similar event was also held in Kashmir, further reflecting the widespread respect for India’s martyrs and their lasting legacy.
