JAMMU, Feb 2: Jammu Police is organizing sports tournament under Civic Action Programme (CAP) in Sub-Division R S Pura in which various teams are participating.
4 teams namely Singh Hockey Club Fareed Nagar, Govt Boys High School Simbal Camp, Dashmesh Hockey Club and Diamond Hockey Club are participating in the tournament. Earlier, Singh Hockey Club Fareed Nagar defeated Govt Boys High School Simbal Camp by 4 goals, while in another match played today, Dashmesh Hockey Club defeated Diamond Hockey Club by a solitary goal.
Army officers in a big number witnessed the event and lauded the efforts of J&K Police in organizing such events which give fillip to the sports activities and games.
It is pertinent to mention here that J&K Police have launched various schemes under Civic Action Programme for the benefit of general public.
