Jammu Rising Stars drubs KCSC in U-15 Cricket Series

JAMMU, Nov 13: Jammu Rising Stars got better of KC Sports Club in the first match of the 5-match Under-15 Cricket Series, being organized by KC Sports Club at KC School ground, here.
The series is being held under the overall supervision of Arjun Choudhary, chairman of KC Sports Club, Jammu.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first Jammu Rising Stars scored a fighting total of 122 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 8 wickets in the process. Arya Sachivansh was top scorer with 31 runs, while Abhay contributed 23 runs to the total.  Uttkarsh was the most successful bowler, who took 4 important wickets, while Mohsin and Ashvardhan claimed one wicket each.
In reply, KC Sports Club managed to score 106 runs in the allotted 20 overs, thus lost the match by 16 runs. Mohsin was the top scorer with 13 runs, while Uttkarsh and Musaif contributed 10 and 9 runs respectively. For Jammu Rising Stars, Praful Dhar, Nalin and Umar Sadiq bagged 2 wickets each, while Tushar and Laith claimed one wicket each. Praful was declared as man of the match for his good bowling performance.
Jammu Rising Stars will lock horns with Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy at Academy ground tomorrow.
