JAMMU, Nov 17: Army Public School, Nagrota hoisted the Jammu Sahodaya Badminton Championship for boys and girls, which concluded at TOI Badminton Court, here today.
The Championship was declared open by the chief guest Col Sudhanshu Sharma.
Seven Schools namely Heritage Public School, APS Domana, APS Bari Brahmana, Bhargava Public School, BSF Sr Sec School and APS Nagrota participated in the Championship with true sportsman spirit.
The final matches were played today between BSF Sr Secondary, Paloura and APS Nagrota in boys section and APS Bari Brahmana and APS Domana in girls section.
APS Nagrota and APS Domana emerged winners of the Championship in boys and girls sections respectively.
In the closing ceremony, the chief guest, Col Arun M Kulkarni along with the Principal, Maninder Kaur Kakkar felicitated the winners and runners- up teams and the best players with the prizes and trophies.
