JAMMU, Dec 28: Jammu Sanskriti School celebrated its First Annual Function-(Sanskar-2013) with great fervour.
The programme started with the traditional lighting of lamp followed by Sarswati Vandana.
On the occasion, chief guest Sanjeev Verma (IAS) Secretary to Government BPE and Floriculture in his message congratulated the school management for exercising all the efforts, energy and experience in building up this knowledge centre par excellence. He appreciated the high standards for imparting value education through new techniques and technologies brought into the system.
Earlier, Mrs Rohini Aima, vice chairperson and principal of the school, formally welcomed the chief guest Sanjeev Verma (IAS), Guest of honour, Randhir Singh (KPS) SP-PHQ, Sheikh Faizel Qayoom (IMS) DySp PHQ,  for sparing their valuable time to grace the occasion.
She also highlighted the achievements of the school in short span of time. Prizes and medals were awarded to the students who excelled in various scholastic and co-scholastic activities.  Harpreet Singh, chairman of the school conveyed the vote of thanks to the chief guest for his encouraging and motivating words. Special thanks were conveyed to the media staff and the all the parents of the students.
