JAMMU, Jan 30: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu, achieved a historic milestone by securing top positions in all three major categories at the state-level cultural competition organized by the Department of Information and Public Relations during the 76th Republic Day celebrations at MA Stadium.
The school’s talented student, Pallavi Thakur, was awarded first prize in the Solo Singing Competition, receiving a cash award of Rs 10,000. Additionally, she won the second prize in the Group Song Competition, earning Rs 7,500, and the third prize in the Dance Competition, an extraordinary achievement that set a new benchmark in the history of the competition.
With the expert mentorship of Krishan Kumar (HoD, Music), Monika Wazir (HoD, Dance), Sonu (Music Teacher), and Ricky (Dance Teacher), the students displayed exceptional talent and artistic excellence, impressing both the audience and the esteemed jury.
Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, presented the awards, recognizing the school’s outstanding contribution to promoting art and culture. Principal Rohini Aima expressed immense pride, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic education and performing arts.
