JAMMU, Jan 1: In a remarkable achievement, Krishnay, a 9th-grade student from Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu, has won the prestigious “Best Actor Female” award at the Film Youth Festival held in Chandigarh. Her stellar performance at the festival impressed the judges, marking a significant milestone in her budding acting career.
The talented young actress has also been selected to star in an upcoming movie by the Institute of Moving Images (IMI), which will be released on major OTT platforms. This exciting opportunity will offer her a global platform to showcase her acting skills and further her aspirations in the film industry.
Krishnay’s success is the result of dedicated mentorship under Arun Salaria, the in-charge of the Theatre Club at Jammu Sanskriti School. His expert guidance has been instrumental in helping Krishnay hone her craft and achieve this outstanding recognition.
Other students from the school, including Sanidhya, Paras, Srijan, Daksh, Japji, Krishnay, Akshar, Adhvik, and Sarangveer, also participated in the Film Youth Festival held in Chandigarh.
