Jammu Strikers beats Elite Sports by 4 wkts

JAMMU, Apr 7: Jammu Strikers trounced Elite Sports Club by 4 wickets on the ninth day of the ongoing 50 overs under-19 Cricket for Excellence, organised by Country Cricket Club and Safran Cricket Club at Country Cricket Stadium, here today.
Batting first, Elite Sports Club scored 194 runs in 39.5 over wherein Pranav Sharma scored a half century (59 runs off 52 balls), while Manitvya made 39 runs, Vasu Lamba, Atul and Adhijai scored 16,13 and 12 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Vansh took 4 wickets, whereas Vasu Sharma took 2 wickets and Manik, Naveen, Vinayak took 1 wickets each.
In reply, Jammu Strikers chased the set target in 36.1 overs by losing 6 wickets in the process. Damen Preet scored 69 runs, while Arihant scored 60 runs, Vansh and Mannav contributed 14 and 13 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Aditya Sharma scalped 3 wickets, while Atul Saini clinched 2 wickets and Aman Kumar got 1 wicket.
Vansh was declared as Man of the Match for his overall performance.
