Jammu takes on Srinagar in U-17 boys, girls basketball final

JAMMU, May 25: Outplaying their rivals convincingly in the semifinals of the State Level Inter-District Under-17 boys and girls basketball tournament, District Jammu and District Srinagar have made it to the finals in both the categories and will take on each other in the summit clash, here tomorrow.
Earlier, in the second semifinal of girls section, Jammu thrashed Udhampur by (19-02) in a one-sided contest, while Srinagar had already won the first semifinal yesterday.
In Under-17 boys, Srinagar got better of Udhampur by (23-15) in the first semifinal and Jammu defeated Baramulla by (20-08) in the second semifinal.
Meanwhile, in badminton Under-14 boys, Ruchir Agarwal of DPS defeated Sparsh, while APS Domana lifted the title.
In badminton Under-17 boys, MIER will take on APS Domana in the finals as in the semifinals, MIER defeated Heritage by (2-0) and APS Domana drubbed KC International by (2-0).
