Jammu United, Param FC blank opponents in Football

JAMMU, Nov 23: Jammu United Football Club and Param Football Club blanked their rivals to advance in the ongoing 1st Mufti Mohd Sayeed Memorial Gold Cup State League Football Tournament, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
In the first match, Jammu United got the better of State Football Academy by four goals to nil (4-0). 1st goal was scored by Manjeet Singh in 12th minute, while Rajinder Singh netted the second goal in 34th minute.
3rd goal was again scored by Rajinder Singh in 48th minute, while the 4th goal was netted by Manish Manhas in 59th minute.
The match was officiated by Suresh Gupta, Dil Bahadur, Sanjay Kumar and Ricky Kumar
In the second match of the day, Param FC thrashed Christian Star by five goals to nil (5-0). The 1st and 2nd goals were scored by Davinder in 6th and 8th minutes, while the 3rd and 4th goals were netted by Rajinder in 17th  and 58th minutes and the 5th goal was scored by Brijender in 63rd minute.
Vijay Kumar, Ricky Kumar, Dheeraj Meenia and Suresh Gupta officiated the matches.
