JAMMU, Jan 9: Jammu Vishals registered win against KC Sports Club and entered in finals of the ongoing New Year T20 Cricket League, organised at KC Sports Ground, here today.
The league is being jointly organized by Veterans Cricket J&K and KC Sports Club Jammu, supported by J&K Police, which is being sponsored by Narayana Hospital Katra, Horizon Group, Game Changers and KC Sports Club.
In today’s match, Jammu Vishals defeated KC Sports Club by 8 runs. Batting first, Jammu Vishals scored 149 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 16 overs. Rajesh Gill scored unbeaten 60 runs off 45 balls, Rohan Gill made 44 in 29 balls and Amrit Pal Singh contributed 23 runs. From the bowling side, Kanan, Vansh and Krishna took 1 wicket each.
In reply, KC Sports club managed to score 141 runs wherein Kanan made 54 runs and Arzoo scored 14 runs by losing 6 wickets in the process. From the bowling side, Ishtiaq, Billal and Vikram took 1 wicket each.
Rajesh Gill was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance during the match.
