JAMMU, Nov 23: Amarjeet Singh from Jammu has brought laurels to Jammu in one Race Bhag Chandigarh run held at Chandigarh. He participated in the 10 Kilometre run and won second prize in his age category. He finished his run in 51:35 minutes in the age category. He was the only medal winner from Jammu in this event.
Amarjeet Singh appeared for the second time in this race at Chandigarh. Earlier, in the year 2019, Amarjeet won third prize in Tuffman Chandigarh Half Marathon which was conducted at the same venue in September 2019.
As per statement apart from this race, Amarjeet Singh has won many medals including 2rd prize in Jammu Half Marathon 1st & 2nd editions conducted in the years 2018 and 2019 respectively. He won first prize in the recently held Jammu Night Marathon in August 2023 in his age category in 10 Km run. Similarly he won 3rd prize in his age category in the Patnitop Half Marathon 2023 in 10 Km race.
