Jammu, Mar 29 : Congress coalition candidate from Jammu Poonch constituency M L Sharma addressed a series of Public meetings at Brij Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, New Plot, Muthi and expressed his desire to serve the people of Jammu Poonch Constituency once again as their Member Parliament .
He sought the vote on the basis of his performance in the last 10 years. He assured the people that he will raise the voice of Jammu in the Parliament and resolve the pending issues of his constituency.
Mr. Sharma asked the people to take pledge to keep State and the Nation united by keeping a distance from the vested interest and the communal forces who are bent upon to create an environment of uncertainty and asked the people to unite against such forces. He said that Development of Jammu is on his top priority and he will ensure that power, water, agriculture, education, health infrastructure is improved and better access given to unprivileged and marginalized communities. He said that during the last 10 years massive development in all vital sectors has taken place and change is visible which has been acknowledged by the people themselves. He said that Coalition Government in the State has taken some landmark decisions like introducing of Public Service Guarantee Act, RTI Act, Creating Independent Vigilance Commission, conducting Panchayat Elections, Empowering PRIs in line with Central Government and creating large number of Administrative units.
Prominent among others who appealed the people to vote for Madan Lal Sharma are Raman Bhalla, Hon’ble Minister, Darshan Raina, Pawan Raina, Ganesh Dutt, I.D Soni and P P Sharma.
