JAMMU, Dec 16: Stepping up election campaign across the Jammu-West Constituency, National Conference candidate Dharamveer Singh Jamwal today made a fervent appeal to voters to come forward in a big way and join his mission of transforming the area as per their vision.
“We have seen the chosen representatives of Congress and BJP making false promises and getting away with non-performance but now the time has come when a responsibility has cast upon us all to give a new dimension to the constituency by undertaking development and improving facilities”, Mr Jamwal said while carrying out door-to-door campaign at Gurah Bakshi Nagar, Toph, Kabir Colony,Talab Tillo, Karan Nager New Plot and Janipur Colony.
The people of these areas interacted with the National Conference candidate and shared their experiences of the past tweleve years in particular when their representatives betrayed their trust.
Mr Jamwal shared their concerns and said that being the resident of the constituency, he has vowed to accord Jammu-West the place it deserves, being the nerve centre of the capital city. He said while efforts would be redoubled to improve the road connectivity and upgrade the lanes and drains, special thrust will be laid on health and hygiene, power and drinking water. He said civic amenities needed special attention in view of the congestion of the area.
The National Conference candidate hoped that the people will support his initiative by coming forward in large numbers on December, 20 and cast their votes for progress and development.
