JAMMU, Dec 8: Giving a clarion call to voters of Jammu West to join his mission of converting the area as a model constituency, National Conference (NC) candidate, Dharamveer Singh Jamwal today said that a holistic approach would be adopted for achieving the objective.
In his door to door campaign in Ward No 30 and 31, Jamwal said politics could wait but development of Jammu West needed focused attention. He decried the inimical elements for diverting the attention from development and exploiting public sentiment on various sensitive issues.
Jamwal said the era of hate politics has gone, as the people are craving for development, progress and economic stability.
Calling upon people to foil the machinations of anti-peace forces, Jamwal said communal politics has no place in a State that has been abode of the people belonging to different faiths, who have been living in harmony”. He said reactionary forces have always got a befitting reply and they have never succeeded in breaking the will of people for maintaining peace and tranquility.
He said that he was overwhelmed to see the enthusiasm among people of Jammu West who want to join the odyssey of progress and development in a big way. “This will be possible when the hands of the Chief Minister will be further strengthened”, he maintained.
